Another special project is the coordination and primary sponsorship of the Americans with Disabilities Act(ADA) Action Network of Kentucky, which has Network partners around the state and plans and facilitates the A D A Celebration & Rally held annually at the State Capital Rotunda in Frankfort among other A D A projects. The statewide A D A Rally event provides a common theme that unites individuals of various groups and disabilities, and involves non disabled individuals as well. The rally also influences decision and policy makers at the state level, of whom a good number participate in the Rally each year. People with disabilities, family members and friends, and disability rights advocates from all across the Commonwealth have the opportunity to become VISIBLE and VOCAL in Kentuckys State Capitol!
