The Community Services Division executes Independent Living Philosophy by increasing community awareness, networking, outreach and advocacy services. Independence Place serves as a referral agency to community agencies and organizations which can help meet eligible peoples needs. IP joins other community agencies and organizations in a wide array of service oriented exhibits and delivers informational presentations in the school systems, youth organizations, and state and local government agencies. Community services infiltrate and/or support the four core services of Information & Referral, Peer Support, Advocacy, and Independent Living Skills Training.
